This is a photo I took on June 14, 2003, just after Paula Dempsey of Oakley English Setters groomed Indy. He continues to grow and develop. (Click on the thumbnail to see the full sized picture.)

Last October, Paula Dempsey, my friend and the head of Oakley English Setters where Heater was bred, told me of some folks in Houston, MM & Terry Silvers, wished to breed their beautiful Oakley girl, Sadie, Ch. Oakley Sassy Lady Sadie, OFA, to Heater. When she was ready, thanks to Continental Airline's excellent capability to transport dogs, Heater and I took a trip to Houston for him to breed Lady Sadie. I had never witnessed dogs breeding before and had little knowledge of "what to do." Fortunately, Mr. Heater and Lady Sadie did just fine. breeding three times and obviously really liking each other. The result was 5 pups; three girls and two boys. When they were at a suitable age, Paula brought back the two boys to her kennel. Indy's brother Milton is now living in the lap of luxury and love by Central Park in New York City. I plan on visiting him often.

You can see pictures of Indy and Milton on Heater's page.

A weekend in Roslyn and Ellensburg, WA with Tiffany, Gator, Dodger, and Indy:

Tiffany invited us to spend the weekend with her in Ellensburg. We had a wonderful time together exploring, shopping, eating, grooming Dodger dog, and taking the dogs to Lake Cle Elum. The lake is pristine and undeveloped. Just a jewel for the photographer's eye. After going there once, I was determined to return. It was my good fortune to have my F100, fast high resolution Fuji NPZ ASA 800 pro film, and my 80 - 400mm high resolution lens.
